looking for repop LT5 bumper emblem.

I would be willing to take the emblem project on.

I just purchased an NOS emblem on ebay and will have a mold made for a rigid plastic cast part. It will probably take about a month or so to get a urethane mold made for casting parts.

I'll also get a mask made for painting the different colors offered. Once I get the mask made, I'll be able to reproduce any color needed.

How about making the ZR-1 plate too? Much bigger need for these, esp the NLA colours, Red - Black - Blues etc. I have originals i can send if that helps.?

Are you talking about the ZR1 front license plate cover? I like that too. I was asking someone about those last week. I think it could be done easily enough. I would need to have one for a pattern that I could return afterwards.

Brett are you talking about the ZR-1 emblem that Limey is referring to or the LT-5 emblem?

I messed up. I wasn't thinking about the LT5 emblem. I was thinking ZR1 emblem. Sorry.

Well, at least I have an NOS red ZR1 emblem now. Anybody want o buy it for $35 plus a couple bucks shipping?

You can tell I'm new to the ZR1 group, huh? I "would" like to make the front ZR1 license covers though.

Went from LT-5 emblems to mirror moldings to ZR-1 emblems to front license plate fillers.

Cliff notes: Brett can make a mold of the ZR-1 emblem and mask for painting. Limey has a need for these. Sounds like a deal should be made.

I have LT-5 emblem, Brett should be able to make these too, if he can make the ZR-1 emblems. Eric has a need and others will want one too.

I believe member Bans25, who no longer owns a ZR-1, has the mold for the front license filler with ZR-1 logo. Brett could contact him to see if he will make more or if Brett can buy the mold? Sounds like another potential deal.

I have no idea about the mirror moldings.

first time posting. If you need an lt5 emblem right now you could make one from an LT1 by cutting the 1 off and adding a 5 . I'v done this before
they made an lt5 emblem.
In BG in 2000 i had one on the rear of my Z and a plant engineer
asked were did i get that emblem as they wer not released to any one.
I told him that i made from a LT1 and added a 5 after the LT,he looked a little closer then said yes i can see just the cut line.
