during shifting 1-2 ,you could lose control. driver must be very careful in this moment. tell you what, when you accelerate from standing stop, how much time in seconds to reach 7000 in first shift ?? so imagine now with nitrous ,the time cut in half...very very fast with 32valvz! :-)) i have Progressive Nitrous Controller from NOS, new never been used. i think i going to sell it, i havent time to fix it ! Re: Is it safe to use 150 hp shot ??
I sprayed 225 so I could beat Bob Hall. Properly set up with a window switch, it seemed to work just fine for me. I very seldom used it on the street just at the strip so it was in a controlled environment. And I was using slicks to get it going. It ran a best of 11.08 @ 129 with a 1.59 60' time when it was not running too great. Later, when Corey got #364 all running right, I feel sure it would have been in the 10's. But that never got to happen. Window switch is very important in my opinion.
