Here are some more pictures from RMR Day 2, Black Hawk to Estes Park, to Rocky Mountain National Park, and back to Black Hawk.

Steve, The Royal Gorge Bridge was open to traffic to cross the gorge years ago, but recently it has been closed to traffic. BUT, groups can make special arrangements to drive across the bridge before the park opens for general visiting.

I figured that the Rocky Mountain Run would be a good time to get the chance to drive on the bridge.

Great Pictures thanks for those. We have a place in that area but were not able to participate this year. I hope y'all do this again as J and I would like to be part of it next time.

Very nice! So sorry I was unable to join today. Left my house this morning and two blocks away the Z just quit. Won’t start again. Battery is brand new. Car has been driving fine this past week. Searching the forum, it looks like maybe it’s the fuel pump. Swapped the primary for the secondary wire and tried again. Nothing. Since when do both pumps fail? Applying 12 volts direct to the pumps doesn’t seem to turn them on. Time for some new ones I guess. Service records show they were replaced in 2012. Shouldn’t they last longer than that? Anyways, hope there is another Rocky Mountain Run to participate in. So many awesome places here for the King to roam.

I was really glad to have made some new friends on this get together. Had fun at the bridge and up to Woodland Park.... Next year we go the distance.... no wedding to mess with! LOL!

The wedding was actually really cool and all 200 or so of us had fun! So it was worth it.

At any rate, let me know if I can be of any assistance again next year. I will be happy to help in anyway possible.

Regards, John

Was GREAT to have you along! And, thanks for scouting the particulars regarding access to the Royal Gorge Bridge - timely and it went smooth as anything could have gone! (What an adventure, being on the bridge!).

Already looking forward to next year! (Those of you that thought about it, but had to pass....well...YOU MISSED A GOOD UN!!)
