I believe this is what we are looking at: http://www.autobahnspeed.com/locatio...ectionLocation

We will be discussing this tomorrow night at our board meeting but at a cost of $1400 for the Registry to rent the whole facility for an hour, with the numbers that have expressed interest we will probably just show up and ride.

The cost is $20 for one 14 lap race or $50 for 3 14 lap races. Everyone must have a racing license for $6.

As you can see from the website these karts require helmets and reach speeds up to 50mph.

As if I wasn't bummed enough that I will be out of the country while Carlisle is taking place this year, now I see the go-kart option. Great addition, gents. I hope it is a success and we can do it again next year when I will be there finally.

Hope you have a dry event this year. I look forward to the pics!

We discussed that, among the many preparations for Carlisle, and oil change IS a bit mundane, you're right. But, more than that, there's the lift issues and then the disposal problems. So, oil changes won't be on the list of activities.

However, there will be some demos, including a plenum pull and tech session. And there will be a demo on shine products, including various polishes, etc., as well as some tools (e.g., buffers, etc) that are quite good and quite popular with the WAXERS among us! All sorts of goodies, too.

See ya there!

Now if you were to offer TB Coolant Blocking at the Injector Housing that Plenum Pull Demonstration would take on a whole new meaning

I have Plenum Pulls now down to 5 minutes

No.....not TB bypass.......It is TB coolant Blocking at the Injector Housing. It can be done without removing the Injector Housings but you should remove the two Injector Housing Coolant Manifolds. (Have Heat available for that).

From then on never use anything (gasket sealer or Permatex) on Plenum gasket, Reuse Plenum gasket several times, just a bit over hand tighten Plenum Bolts, and Plenum removal like removing gas cap...(well....almost)

Speaking of which......always loosen gas cap to take gas pressure off fuel lines when loosing fuel connections passenger side of Plenum to remove that rear passenger side Plenum Bolt.

I will see if I can do 4 minutes today using a drill to speed up Plenum Bolt removal

These Demonstrations you suggest are very interesting and should be of interest to many. Demonstrations are a Great Idea for Carlisle
Some of these Modifications can even be done on Members ZR1s that driver to Carlisle.

You mean you DON'T use a drill to remove the bolts??? How archaic!!

Yep. Blocking TB coolant - is what I did as well. Really makes a future plenum pull a piece O cake. And, dittos on the plenum gasket reuse, except after my porting I found I had to use some Permatex between the gasket and the IH (due to the thinning of the metal between the runner [as result of the porting] and the coolant passage.) But, to reuse the gasket multiple times, before laying the gasket on the IH, I spray the plenum side (only!) of the gasket with silicon spray to reduce the chance of gasket sticking to the plenum when the plenum is lifted, thus possibly being damaged.

KEVIN! Ain't U got those stiffening bars on that car yet?
