Re: 6/14 Antioch IL Car Show & Dyno - FBI
Hans,
Go to the performance page and check out your torque #s vs others....the combo of CATS and resonator must be choking the car....the #s for your car equal that of cars in the 380-400hp range.

What does the AFR look like? Anybody want to post a dyno run graph? Sorry Pete didn't put his on the dyno, then we'd have a benchmark for the dyno that was being used. |

Re: 6/14 Antioch IL Car Show & Dyno - FBI
Dyno seemed pretty conservative.......I talked to one of the guys at Vals, he said they tend to be alittle on the tough side with the #s.
I think the resonators hurt you, tf95ZR1, said he picked up some decent numbers when he dropped his Borla.

I'm skeptical of the torque number. JMO.

Re: 6/14 Antioch IL Car Show & Dyno - FBI
Hans car peaked at 6500RPM, seems alittle low.....might be more of a case of the car being capable of more HP.....30 extra lbft is alot relative to the hp #s......pleanty of people making 380-400hp with 370lbft. Would like to see Hans run a more free exhaust(get earplugs).....the cams Pete is running and the wide variance in cam timing from car to car could be doing it also.

And 30lbft less than Pete is another. Hans is running the LT-4 resonator, which isn't bad according to Marc H. Also an Xpipe IIRC. Last edited by XfireZ51; 06-15-2009 at 12:04 AM. |

Re: 6/14 Antioch IL Car Show & Dyno - FBI
Look at the performance #s page, almost every car is within 2-5% of the HP rating.....those with cams show a large spread from HP to Torque.
402368Vette Doctors Top End Job, Watson Headers, Desert Development Exhaust, 4.09 gears, Jeal cams. 475411DRM-385ci stroker w/special Rippie Race cams, Geoff Jeal Headers, 4.09, Tri-Flow exhaust. Even the factory ratig is 375hp and 370TRq at the flywheel.
