Thanks for sharing your detail tips! When i get around to pulling the wheels I'll see what I can borrow from your steps.

I use never dull on most of my metals, followed by Klassie AIO. I may try the AIO on the plastic this time. I was using undercarriage dressing from Adam's. It's just that my liners are rough to the touch from the sand blasting and that annoys me when I'm trying to make that stuff "disappear". I may eventually have to do some wet sanding on them to get them smooth again.

I could never use Zaino on mine, it'll make all the swirls show up!

Tom with a little work you can remove/hide most of those swirls. Zaino would help your cause not hurt it. Aerospace 303 is also a great product for rubber and plastic. It leaves a clean dry matte finish that last a long time.

Rick, how's the customizing going?

Yea, if I had a machine, I like that new Flex orbital, I would have a fairly good chance of keeping up with the paint. I'm just at a bit of a disadvantage as I lost my car wash privileges where I work, new board of directors & new building policies. I offered to pony up cash for the water, it was a no go.

I've had to use local hand car wash places for the last two yrs. You know it's just not the same as when you wash your own car. They gotta make a profit. I'm reduced to using a carnuba spray detailer as my LSP to hide most of the stuff. She's okay from maybe 5', and most of the time she's a great 10 footer!

Hi,

Sure, a trip to Fl. sounds good right about now. I could use a break from the snow and cold.! Would have to dissapear from the wife for a weekend....
Tom,

Zaino WILL work for you also. Yes it takes some time, but it will get out swirl marks.

I've tried the never dull, but the Wenol was far superior in looks and how long it lasts.
Its very easy to get everything too shiny, some people think its chrome.
