I have the other signatures in my Heart Of The Beast book plus a few more. Lets see if anyone can figure out who they are.

Last one is Doug Rippie, Corvetter racer and started Rippie Motorsports.
I think the first one is Jack Underwood of GM power train. Don't recognize the second one

Was the entire Corvette world in Carlisle, PA on 8/24/96?! Anyone on this board there that weekend or does anyone have any more info on the show that year?

Dick Guldstrand & John Cafaro are the signatures you are inquiring about.

Here are sigs for:

J. Cafaro
Dave M.
Zora D.
Dave H.
artist Tony J. on a limited print/poster that I bought from NCM event about 7 years ago.

Yup, we were all there - 400 ZR-1s and 11 of them Turqs -

If your car is super original, I can see your point in not having it signed. I think it's kind of neat though, especially with the date. It's like the original and continuation Cobras that are signed by Carroll Shelby. Some day soon, this will be impossible.
I think it's cool, just not sure how it will do overtime with the heat of the LT-5 Engine. I doubt you would get deductions.

Scrrem,

Welcome to the ZR-1 Net Registry and the NetRegistry Forum. It sounds like you have a great ZR-1.

There is a group of Maryland and Northern Virginia ZR-1 owners that are very active with our cars. We have had several successful get togethers and there is a wealth of technical information available very close to you. Ckeck out the Southeast Region section of the Forum and if you would like to be included on our email list, PM me or email me at:

Got your PM. No problem with questions. You will find a lot of cooperative, knowledgable ZR-1 guys here.
