Sounds great. What else do we have to do other than wash and wax? I like the mod list idea as well.

OK folks, here is an update, Carlisle will have a couple of Hooters girls joining us and I'm sure they wouldn't mind posing with the vettes
I'd like to take a bunch of pics and also ask members from around the country to submit pics and write ups. we'll talk about this more, but the concept is to put the pics up, and decide which ones make the calendar and also poll the members to see how many would be interested so we have a rough idea on how many to make. I also want to see if we can do them in "batches". order 50-100 at a time, sell them, and then as we need more, order another batch so we don't end up with a pile of unsold calendars. see you in carlisle!! |

Batches is no problem, All the info will be there all you have to do is plug in and play. I also inquired about glossy paper, I figured some of these cals would be hanging in some of our garages. The glossy will be easier to keep clean and looking good. It should only add about 2.00 per calender. for the upgraded paper. This info was given to me from Staples. I agree about a yearly calender w/membership.

I suggest that if we get more than twelve good pictures, we put out more than one calendar.
It appears that the printing cost will allow us to print "small" batches, so we could print small batches of several different versions of a 2009 calendar. We might be able to get everyone who wants to submit a picture into a calendar. And we will get a chance to sell more calendars. I volunteer to be on the production team if help is needed. Jim |
