Watching nervously. Hoping for a huge last minute rush.

me too! I'm surprised at the number of people that have contacted me asking the reserve ( its close by the way) or trying to get me to end the auction like its E-bay and deprive Hemmings of their comission. I guess nothing "should" surprise me any more.

At least there is a reserve. I couldnt roll w/o one. Either way, it is what it is at this point. We're all in the peanut gallery now!

Good thing I bought mine. Otherwise, I can't trust myself that I wouldn't do something stupid on your auction.

So what happened? Looks like it's over, but it's sitting at $38,500.

It automatically gets converted to a Hemmings Premium listing. Good till I end it. I've got a couple interested parties and a slot with BaT if I choose to use it.

If ya go to BaT, be ready to answer inane questions
from the peanut gallery about the Intermediate Shaft Bearing...
😀
BaT ain't what it used to be...
It's amusing but I'd never try to sell a car there.

I?d have to agree with you, auctions were closing at the rate of 1 every 5 minutes the other day. BaT isnt what it used to be. While it "was" an option, the after auction action has led to the local sale of the car to a good friend of mine.
