FWIW: After the auction closed, the seller posted on BaT that Randy Wood, the person who did the supercharger work, told him this was not the same car. But, some photos of it (being identical to the article’s subject) were used in the Super Chevy article...

I was mistaken..
Here is some info from Randy, regarding the Corvette on BaT Nov 2017:I'm actually putting my last Z up for sale this week, as I just dont have any free time for the hobby. Just pulled out of storage after 8 years, having owned it for 15 and only putting 1800 miles on it. No supercharger on this one. Kit was never offered....more of an R&D prototype to prove it could be done. Was never ready for the masses.
