I hope your right as that would be a nice gain. The above plus ported plenum and injector housings gave me 35 at the wheels. However, there might be a bit more in the tune. It's tough to get a tune spot on from another time zone.

Yeah the Docs are only a few hours from me but I'm almost positive that they log the info and send the chip out to someone else to make the changes. At least thats what I was told. I will know soon enough as the car is going to them for a few things anyway.

I have C.R.S. don,t you have ported inj housings and plenum plus headers &flowmaster ex. If so those are the same mods as I have . you could call corey @ H.P.T. (830)620 1117 and ask him to copy my tune put it on a prom and send it to you My car came out @ 409.9 hp & 373 tq. I'll bet the tune would be pretty darn good . Might be cheaper too in the long run . just tell him you want the 409.9 hp tune . tease him and tell him you want a full 410

Anybody got pics of the Flowmaster tips? What do they look like? Any trouble in getting them lined up with the body work. I hear that alignment is one of the tricky parts of adding an exhaust system.

Who does custom PROM burns out here in So Cal? Anyone know?

Thanks,

-Burt

I do know a guy but its 300 for the prom and 200-300 for the dyno time . If you have headers & flowmasterex & ported inj and plenum . then your mods are the exact the same as mine .I would just have corey burn you a prom with my programming in it i would bet it would be within 3-5 hp of max for your car . he put mine on the dyno so it isnt a generic prom. but if you really want the so cal guy pm me and ill give you his info .he does have the soft ware to do zr1s. hope this helps.

Thanks, I will order the kit and the clamps. What is the story on the wrap? and the reason for painting a system that is aluminized??

Thanks guys for the advice...

As I read it the reason for the wrap and paint is to keep the exhaust heat from getting inside the cabin (or too close to melty parts on our plastic fantastics).

That's a good idea to use Corey's cal. I wasn't planning to go with headers though. Like Hib, I was thinking about sticking with the factory manifolds.

Corey is really talented in the tuning area. plus his pricing is very fair. if you let him know everything i will bet he can come really close on the tune . he was the first one to be able to tune out a knock event my car had on the dyno. he may allready have a tune in his computer with your modds . just tell him that lone pine guy sent ya.
