Judging by the pics - that super chrome seems to show every imperfection in the casting - or is that just the pic? I have no experience with PC stuff so maybe I'm off base here...

Yeah with it being cast. It shows alot. However you can mitigate that with primer coates first, also the casting surfaces that are not visual while the engine installed apparently not as much refined during the casting process

Last set of hand ported heads getting ready for Mr Obrien's DH350, complete with intake valve de-shrouding of 3mm at its peak. Only thing left is 3 angle valve job and then installation.
