Took the Z out today for first impressions of driving with the Momo Competition 350mm (13.78 inch) steering wheel and NRG short hub/quick release was simply awesome. Really love the addition of the TWM Performance weighted shift knob too! Never thought a different steering wheel would feel so good.

The wheel grip feels great with perforated leather and just the right thickness for my hands. But what I love most is how the slightly smaller steering wheel size allows me more tilt adjustment and getting the perfect position while still being able to see all the gauges on the dashboard. I had the car torn apart after the steering install to install the Euro tail lights and while at it repaired the late model door panel issue on driver side. Trimmed the rubber and added a screw to door panel. Also removed the passenger side door panel to tighten the mirror mount.

Can't wait to track it again. Man, I love this car!

Can't believe you don't remember ... with a grenade we always had a few seconds after pulling the pin to do something with the d*** thing ... with an airbag it's pretty much instantaneous and my reaction time has never been that quick so yeah, the grenade is safer.

Ha, ha...George, I remember alright and I felt like when I disconnected the air bag I pulled the pin. You would laugh if you could have seen me carrying that thing to the shed. According to our service manual, the air bag has a 6 foot blast area.....ha, ha. I feel safer without it.
