dont go for the garage queen. 18k miles isnt that low considering tons of zr1's have less than that. The moment you drive the 18k miler it will be losing money. you wont enjoy it much and worst of all its stock. I dont know about you but I would hate to be in a beautiful and brutal looking zr1 on the turnpike just to be embarrassed by a new mustang stocker. The 48k miler is a car that has been driven and has had maintenance. It is also a car you can tinker with to bring out more power. With a little tinkering there wont be any new stocker mustangs passing you any time soon. The price is so much better on the 48k miler so its a no brainer for me.

Sports Car Market Letter's Pricing Guide for 2014--which uses auction results for its numbers--shows 1995 ZR-1s with a range of $31,500 to $43,000 for a stock car, and $30,500-$41,500 for 94s; add $1,300 to each for a second top. --Bob

These cars are just too much fun to drive. Mine is obviously modified and I just can't imagine going back to a stock car and being happy. The power of the dark side is too intoxicating.

The-add $1300 for the second top- should have told you this price guide isnt even close to the real world market.

Hi Ray-- I sent you a Private Message a couple of days ago about a car I know about. Just wondered if you got it.--Bob

Hello everyone.
I took a break for a while looking for the ZR1. However, now I see there are very few on the market for sale. I was wondering if that 95' yellow Z in Texas sold? That Z was owned by a guy who passed away, and was being sold by his buddy ... It was a low mileage mint Z with light brown interior and yellow exterior. Any info appreciated. Thx. |
