It takes 6-8 hours if you have all the parts ready at once. You have to get a grove machined onto each shock. The whole project took me 2+ months but I only worked on it when my friend and I had time. Well worth the time and effort.

Shock width is 50.28mm
With snap ring total width increases to 53.28mm The ring is roughly 3mm thick and the grove in the shock body is cut 1.5mm deep. The ring is also roughly 1.46mm thick. Hope this helps
