Not to hijack the thread but...

Jeff - it looks like your interior was black and you changed the carpet color to red - is that correct? My car has black interior and the carpets need replacement - I was thinking I might make a color change to grey

Yeah sort of.. LOL

When I bought the car it was black on black. Then I found out the car was born with red gut. when I changed it I used Torch red from a 94-96 and added that with some black I have a Black/red interior now.. a mix I had Black with red gut seats but now have a set of Black 94 Sport seats.. Future plans will be to get red leather for those seats.. maybe a two tone.. not sure yet

Here is what is red now:
-Cargo sides
-Door sills
-Console Sides
-Door Panels

I have most of the red carpet ( used ) but I think I will buy new when I decide to change it up

Ha, Ha, - OK sounds like you "inherited" the color change and are working back to original. I am thinking of instigating the change.

There are lots of trim pieces (belts, speaker grills etc) that should color match to be 100% correct. I just find it a bit dark in the car so was going to leave all the trim pieces and replace the worn our carpet with lighter color.

Yes. I think when you change it you can get a nice mix of color with black.

old thread.. but working on a different bezel.. I don't like the new bezel anymore, especially with the tablet..

I want to keep the 94 drivers console side but the 90-93 'wall'

here is the part still in process

Dulso is tough to remove on this one

Once this one is done, I will start on a center console piece as well

I really Hate Dulso. One of the crappiest things about the later model interiors, scuffs easy, gets sticky.

I'd CF that area Jeff but yeah its pricey.

I guess GM had to offset the great features of the 94 and up C4 interior's with a Passenger Airbag, Arm Consoles (Although cheaper crappy one piece door panels) and bigger seats.

And -=JEFF=- remove your rings while working on your car!!!!!
