If this is the new C7, I will be very glad I have a C6. The complete car should go to the junk yard!

I can't link to it right now, but the screen caps from the teaser video show the vette animation in the instrument cluster info center as having round tail lamps.

I see the BIG butt end of the C5 and C6 has been muted. That's good.
It would seem the driver sits a bit more rearward, could just be an illusion.

The wheels look like something off a calistoga waggon from 1845.

Overall, I like it.
AND it's the right color

hopefully just another rendering..not the actual car.or that the pictures just dont do it justice and it looks better in person. maybe it would grow on me but I'm not really into it

Overall, I agree with Scott. Believe me, GM spent millions on consumer research over the past several years to get the new Corvette to this point. GM is not making this Seventh Generation Corvette for us (the mid-fifties to mid-sixties guys). GM must begin to have the Corvette 'brand' appeal to a younger demographic, over time....or, based on the last few model years' production numbers...or a similarly-designed Corvette is simply going to die. GM is looking to its next "multi-buyer" consumer of the brand, over the next several model years....not the current demographic. Only time will tell if this brand strategy plays-well with slightly younger buyers (I mean 45 and up).

It's funny you say that, I am under 40 and never liked the design of the C6, or the C5, for that matter, but I don't think it looks as bad as that C6. As a kid I grew up loving C4s and C3s and still prefer those body styles to any other generation. It probably won't but I would love to see the C7 go back to the exaggerated curves of the C3 and the clamshell hood and cockpit style interior of the C4.

It doesn't with this "45 and up". I say ditch the Camaro tail lights.
