Re: Fisher house Saturday October 13th
Charlie,
Thanks for posting pictures!!! They look awesome! 13 ZR-1's! (Bonus, Paul's daughter Megan came with her Daughter Emma) Megan wanted to thank all who came and had such kind words told to her about Paul. Great day celebrating active duty, veterans and soldiers who have died serving our country. VERY impressive charity that houses families of wounded veterans that are @ Walter Reed and other Hospitals around the country. Thanks for all that came to celebrate our Wazoo brother Paul and give to a very worthwhile charity. |

Re: Fisher house Saturday October 13th
I had a great time... started off in the early morning at the Great Falls Cruize In and Coffee. It was just at freezing so got a LITTLE cold but regardless there were 6 ZR-1s>>
With Phil in the lead we caravanned over to Tysons Corner for the Fast Cars and Freedom gathering and the count of Zs went up>> Was good to see everyone and we put on quite a gathering of the WAZOO crowd

Re: Fisher house Saturday October 13th
The ZR1's were the largest collection of cars in the show and we are the limited production units. Speaks volumes for our group.

Re: Fisher house Saturday October 13th
Note from Stephen and Francine that hosted the fisher house event
Guys, We wanted to take a moment to send a personal note of thanks for coming out and supporting us on Saturday in such large numbers. It was really impressive. We are very grateful. It was great for me personally to talk to you (David) and to Megan, Paul’s daughter, for a moment there. We already told you how we wish we had more time to talk to you and all of our great participants but as you know we are running around like crazy making sure the Show is going off as planned. It might seem like not a lot to do but believe me it is so much that we cannot take the time we wish to chat with everyone. We were glad we were able to catch you at the end while you were taking the post-show photos and talk briefly again. I hope you know that we were thinking about Paul and all he meant to you guys and his family. We hope that our Tribute Song, which we play at the end of our Show every year, had special meaning for you guys this year. I got so caught up in the Ballot tabulations toward the afternoon that I did not get a chance to dedicate a song to Paul as the minutes slipped away from me there but I think all of you know we are very sincere in our sympathy toward you and his family and we are very thankful you all came out and chose our Event to celebrate his life that day. We are honored. It was great seeing you. We hope you enjoyed our Show. It was a great day for us as we were so pleased with the turnout and everything that happened. It was a great day for Fisher House and for our Troops both past and present who all of us honored together as an American Family on Saturday. Please pass on one more time our condolences to Megan and the family. They can be Proud. He made it to “Arlington” as a hero. Re: Fisher house Saturday October 13th
I wish I could have made it, but I'm in south america. I still can't believe Paul's gone. I'm sure he would have been proud of the ZR-1 turnout in his honor for a good cause.
