I stack and weight my stuff to work with seismic events. absolutely nothing goes in the rafter that could fall off over the cars.

I could probably reassess my tool chest though. I prop the front up with cardboard under the front wheels, but that flattens after awhile.

Wouldn't happen to have a cat would you? Mine likes to pull open the top drawer and sleep on top of the leather wrench pouch (and use it for a scratching pad on occasion). Did this once a couple of years back and the box tipped over on the wife's Lotus. Only way I could keep my cat was to promise my Boss it wouldn't happen again. A few eye bolts and latch chains later and not possible now----even if all the drawers are left open and I sit items on them.

That sucks but at least it wasnt the rear bumper. Now you can take care of those pesky up front paint chips. Always a bit of silver in every grey cloud.

Nope no cat. Got a dog but she never really goes near the car.

Just an update on this. Picked up the Dragon from the shop after suffering withdrawal for the last week and a half. The shop did a great job for me, it looks immaculate. Can't see a single trace of the marks and gouges.

Happy again - definitely got to put some miles on over the long weekend coming up

Thanks David

I took some 'before' shots but its hard to see the damage clearly being a black car, will post a couple though.

I was so paranoid I photographed the odometer when I left it lol had visions of them joy driving around town! Picked it up without a single extra KM on it
