Re: Mecum Frenzy
Thank you Lee. It was worth a shot!
Scott, one of our brothers just gave me a place, vintage parts Inc, and they had left ones in stock, they now have 67 left as I bought two. They look like they can be rotated 180* as they look like a mirror image of one another? I figure for $100.00 it's worth trying and at the least I will have one with intact mounting ears. I can't thank you enough for thinking of me & my situation and extending yourself to even offer something of this nature to me. You are a credit to our club! Tom

Hey Tom. Kurt White (Limey) has one for $39.95. Can't remember if it's L or R though. They are different due to a slight "slant".

Re: Mecum Frenzy
all three Z's in the collection that sold saturday were lets say, less than perfect, the 415 and TT were filthy everywhere, mice crap all over engine compartment etc, i wasn't impressed, the stock one was nice, i can't believe how they looked, sad. just my opinion though.... brody p.

Re: Mecum Frenzy
Both of the car's were done by LPE. The yellow one was John's 415. The other (red) was one of 4 LPE twin turbo car's I believe. I could care less what the heck they looked like. Or who crapped on them. This was very dissapointing seeing these car's being given away. This is LPE heritage by the master John himself. IMO a true ZR1 guy that is in the know would have given his left nut for these car's , me included. Shame.

Re: Mecum Frenzy
all 3 cars were red....don't know where the yellow 415 is coming from FU2??? all i'm saying is they were given away because of the way they were represented.....a car of that caliber should have been detailed and presented as the true ZR1 it was and is. if i came from outta state to try and buy these cars and they looked like they did....you would have been dissapointed and turned off, as was every person that i talked to about them was. i never said they weren't the ultimate Z, i said they were nasty to the eye.... if cleaned properly i agree they would have brought good money...they were not what one would have expected at first sight...period....so go ahead and give your nuts for'em....i'm sure you'll see them before long, cleaned up and presented as they deserve to be and the price will reflect that. brody p.
