Gee I did not know you were in the ZR-1 consignment business now?

Do you have a website we can view all of your consignment Corvettes at?
No website. I get approached by people who are looking to sell and and see if I know anybody who is interested. Most of them I have worked on, so I can offer an opinion on condition.

I worked on two cars this past year that involved in a complete sale.

Not sure why you have to be a tool about it.

Merry Xmas.

If you absolutely want a car you will find one.How much money do you want to spend first off?Prices for ZR-1s have never been this cheap,at least Ive never seen them this cheap.Theres a guy about 20 miles from me with a white-tan 91,same owner since new,32K miles. He wants $20,000 for it.

The car at 12.5-14.5 on auction was right. Thats the main reason I started looking. I see several others that are around 13k right now as well, but reserves are not being met.

I know at 20k I could get a very nice vehicle, but not looking to spend that at this point. I have been keeping an eye on the web and watching to see how things progress with the various sales.

Phil, I agree with Rick....you can look like the rest of us! -->

Rick! Jingle Bells to you & the family!

I would add this for your consideration Phil. If you are going to really use the car to go on runs with other vette owners, and do this a lot? Get one that has already been dunn, ported & headers & any thing else that you think that you might do eventually. It's cheaper to buy a car that is modded than to buy a stock one and do the mods yourself. JMHO

Good luck in the search!

Phil,

That price was very unusual.... The owner tried to sell it for a long while and had many tire kickers. Don't get a $$$$ in your head because some cars that look great, need work. That will negate that "great price".

Have you driven a ZR-1 yet? Once you drive it, I think you will rethink price. Our cars are going for 40 cents on the dollar now....

Good luck and keep us informed.

^^^ I have too many projects in progress now to add another! If I had more experience with motor swaps and could get it done quick that would be a viable option. I have grown to where I like the original vehicles, always use to like adding/changing things.
