My sentiments exactly. I figured, down the road, spending $16,000-20,000 for a rebuild (plus performance upgrade while I am at it) would make perfect sense after 150,000 to 200,000 miles of daily use and fun. I am starting to replace bushings as they fail. A set of new shocks are next on my list, new paint in next couple of years, etc... My logic is that the extra money spent is well worth it since the car serves it's main purpose as my daily driver.
