You may be on the something, they could have tired and stopped off to rest at

"that shack outside La Grange" Texas

I want to be there so bad right now. I am so bummed out. Because I know as I'm typing this that everybody is at the San Antonio speed way drag racing. Or at least the ZR-1 owners that are not woosies. But I'm picking up a new starter at noon Saturday. After that I've got to get the Z inspected for emission and all that BS to renew my inspection sticker. By that time it will be time to take the kids trick or treating. Have fun guy's

Jim & Dave rolled in to Corey's shop about 4 pm. We went to get a pizza, back to Corey's then they went to the drags. Still there right now.

Unbelievable hospitality.... Love to live here!

Will Barrett tracked his TT @ the track and the car was spinning tires the whole 1/4 mile! (still did 11.3)

Well it is late Sunday night. After a wonderful stay in New Brunfels TX, we have made it to Pensacola Florida. Tomorrow morning we will meet up with Demps.

The Gathering was great. The East Texas ZR-1 owners are a fantastic bunch of guys. Thank you to Glenn and Mary and to Cory for hosting the event. And thank you to Glenn and Mary for inviting us to stay in their beautiful home. You made us feel welcome.

On the way down, we stopped in Memphis for a photo.

After that we had a nice visit with freinds of David's. Remember the ribs? These were the folks that make them. A real treat!

Friday Evening we went to the San Antonio Dragway for some racing There was a pretty good crowd of racers, so I only got a few passes in. My first time running the yellow car, turned a 13.10. Will joined us there and I had the thrill of racing against his Red 415 TT. What a car!!!!

Pictures are poor because it was dark. But here are a couple:

More when I get a chance.

Just sent the two amigos on their way northbound. We had a great day talking cars. Glad to see them.
