Re: EX5023 LT5 Start-up
Gotta change the oil before I start it up again. We had an injector stick open and put alot of fuel into $90 worth of new oil. I'm no longer a virgin at the Plenum Pull. Had to pull it several times, plus change the injectors. Easy to do once you do it a few times. No longer aprehensive about tearing into my Turq car if needed. After installing all of the original wiring harnesses, we had to trouble shoot all of the connectors that weren't hooked to anything. Still have a few to trace down. TYLER IS DA"MAN!!!!!!!!! He's so knowledgable on the PhaseII that it's crazy cool. I never could have got this thing running without him. He's a true genious. Next.....install a complete working braking system and then all new interior.

Queenie says:
It's time to officially introduce my younger sister Elizabeth (Lizzy) to the forum. Unlike me her early history is known. She was used by Lotus for calibration work by Geoff Jeal and then used to test the 405 block before being humilitated. Re: EX5023 LT5 Start-up
Well, Tyler finally backed me into a corner so I'd give my car a name. LOL
It's the least I could agree to do since he helped me so graciously to get "her" a pulse and bring her back to life. We worked 9am-9pm for a solid week until she finally fired up and cleared the debris from the exhaust....literally! What a great feeling to finally have the car alive. I started with a wreck and brought it back to life. I had a lot of great help along the way. That's for sure.

Awesome...
The first photos literally made me queasy...to think how you have been able to put this thing back together is incredible. One wonders why GM and the developer of the car destroyed the earlier test mules..even GM had to have had someone around who realized how valuable and unique those early specimens would be....I don't get the corporate mind sometimes....lol!

Re: EX5023 LT5 Start-up
Wow! Can't believe you guys transformed that pile of junk into a beautiful car. Congratulations, it looks awesome. Have to ask, how did you even track it down? Must of taken some serious research.

Re: EX5023 LT5 Start-up
It's a well documented piece of Corvette history and had been in storage for around 15 yrs or so after it was pulled from the UK graveyard. A Lotus engineer saved it after it was crushed.
