No. I share almost everything I do, I just decided to keep this one bit of information to myself.😁 I don't see the harm in that

If you must know my reasoning behind it is more of a safety/liability issue than anything else, that's why I don't make them and sell them

Actually I think Karl asks a pretty good question. Everyone of us documents what we’ve done so as to contribute to the community. The issue of liability is a bit specious for me. I documented use of C6Z06 brakes on my ZR w/o concern for liability issues. What u do w ur car is your business, if I decide to follow suit, that’s also my business. As I said, I have the Z06 brakes on my ZR, so no skin of my prominent nose but I can’t agree w ur argument for not describing what and how it was done.
JMHO.

The liability comes more specifically into play with the brackets. Maybe I could have gave all details except details on the brackets, that I can see as being acceptable I guess

You could give all details including dimensions of the brackets. Once you market and sell the brackets you become liable. But supplying info on how they fit, I doubt would be a liability. not sure how it could be as it is just information, nothing more nothing less

Lol you would think people would be responsible for their own actions...but in 2018 it is a very real concern! I don't say these things flippantly, I've had experience unfortunately in exactly this situation. I used to cut brake brackets for all the Viper guys when I have my Viper.... not anymore

I don't withhold any information from you guys because I'm trying to be a jerk or something, I consider the ZR1 community my car family and have no problem contributing, as I have gained much from this community
