Clarification....I've been repeating the word "Teflon" washers as repeatedly stated over at Corvette Forum. These are not teflon but stamped metal with a nitrle coating. I have no idea why somebody would mistake that for teflon unless they had no idea what the coating was or is. GC

Still not clear to me how the new cables mate up to the existing E brake cable.
Do the new cables come with brake kit?

phil,

No, u need to buy universal cables and then cut to length and make them up. U get them from Lokar. Perhaps Darryl can measure the length for u.
BTW, I used electrical conduit holders on the dog bones. And some split rubber hose between them and the dog bones as extra grip.

Here is a picture of the GM stamped metal washers that you need to stack as recommended by Dom. Without these washers you won't get clearance you need for the unit when you tighten everything up

Dom is correct I used the Lokar cable. I bought my streetshop setup used over at Corvette Forum and the cables where already made up. Here is a link for you Phil

Did the Lokar cables replace all of the original cables? Did you also have to replace the E brake hand lever?
