Yeah that was a pretty car. First Corvette I owned where my wife really loved the color. The Black Rose is very pretty, more classic looking, and a more sophisticated look. Really growing on me. Gets a number of compliments particularly with how the color sets off the silver Z06 wheels.

What did you do to calibrate your speedo with those wheels and what size are they?

I swapped out the 3.45 rear for 3.73. That rear gear plus the stock speedo gear work out to within 3mph error at 70mph when using the 19" wheels. Close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades.

I was very interested in this car a while back. I contacted them with a few questions.

Look at the doglegs (center trim piece behind door) and passenger side gill to hood gap. Mgr said I'll get svc mgr to look at car on lift--for evidence of car being apart. Still waiting a month later. For whatever reason, it iseems out of alignment.
