I love watching you guys trying your damndest to get your hands on those dyno sheets! It's quite comical, forget it, this is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. GM will NEVER let them go - face it, there is bound to be some jerk out there, most likely an original owner, who may still have the rights to sue, (or at least believe he has those rights), over an underrated engine. Some people will never let it go, rememeber, we are Americans we have the right to sue over anything. As stated before, Ford experienced this, it's not a good thing. Back in '93, Thunder in Stillwater, all who attended, and only those who attended, got the engine build sheet, but no dyno sheet, and Mercury Marine was pressed for them by all of us. But keep trying, it's at least fun to watch you guys work yourselves up over this.

Let them keep them. GM doesn't have one of these. The actual Lotus LT5 Engine Build book for my PhaseII LT5.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps the registry might consider maintaining an electronic library of important historical documents like these and things like Z51Jeff's Jim McFarland letter as an archive available to members.

I'm sure most people with these kind of documents wouldn't mind scanning them (or having them scanned by a trustworthy Registry representative) and it would certainly make all of our lives richer for having access to copies of these documents.

Oh, on the dyno sheets. I can't see the NCM giving an answer because as Lee points out the sheets are GM's property. I know when I get to the gathering this year I'm going to ask some one if Z owners may be allowed to just read their sheet. Not copy it, no cameras or any secret agent stuff...just let me see it.

The NCM cannot release the Dyno sheets per GM.
