I wonder what a realistic weight goal is for a car that still has everything functional and presentable? I.e. not gutted. Would ~3300 lbs be reasonable for a car with an in-tact interior and still toting a spare? Or is that dreaming?

![]() the hood of mine will be standard , with only 25 lbs . orginal is 105 lbs. the front bumper (for callaway) is 25% less weigh from original 90zr F.B . ![]() Last edited by HADI-ZR1; 12-04-2007 at 01:25 AM. |

![]() the upper manifold and horn, and stuff goes to air filer is going to be CF too.. ![]() NOT EASY THING TO DO,BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP! the seat going to be replaced with racing seat! Even the roof i will going to CF it. after casting ! my ZR weight is not going to be same as Z06 , BUT surely would be light ZR! the callaway front bumper weight can be reduced 50% if done with Carbon F. , but any small damage to the bumper will be hard to fix (technicaly isue). so i will leave originaly Callaway front. ![]() Last edited by HADI-ZR1; 11-28-2007 at 08:10 PM. |

Hadi,
Can you do a lil better on the price if i were interested in 3-4 hoods. The cheaper the price the more i could possible buy. Or maybe do a group purchase for the ZR1NetRegistry Members Pete

belive me i will do my best. let see when my hood finished, then we will talk, but you should know what i get $$ from the hood or other produced parts is nothing!! ![]() and dont forget you should pay for shippment to USA! so if you see CF hood in USA which is less than my total price , then i advice you, buy it from State. what i promise you, is : Professional job and super finishing for what you pay!
