Would it be plug and play or would I need to cut the harness ?

There are a couple ways to approach my modded brake light.

1) desoldering the leads off the OEM Light and soldering them to the new one (no cutting)

2) cutting them close off the old light soldering to new one

3) adding a connector on the 'body side' that mates to the connector on the LED lights ( still requires cutting or desoldering)

4) get a used OEM vette CHMSL assembly and I mod that, that one would be Plug and play by using the complete harness.

I had a brain fart at work today. All Im looking for is a brighter light to get the morons to pay attention.Brighter reflector?I stopped by Tap Plastics and had the guy cut me a few pieces of mirrored plastic,3/4 by 1 1/8.I have an extra light ........thank you Daryll very much.Im going to try this and see how it turns out.If this doesnt do the job Ill look into the Uplander option, thanks Jeff. When I had my 84 years ago I was read ended at least 3-4 times so I am a little paranoid.
