Re: New Dodge Demon
Actually, I'm more interested in going around the Nuburgring fast.

Re: New Dodge Demon
They are boosted engine's really not that impressive when you you consider there are 1000+ HP 2 liter 4 bangers running around out there.

Re: New Dodge Demon
and how long do those 4 bangers last...I can speak from experience...the hellcats 707HP engine is a beast, and the 840HP is even more so.

Re: New Dodge Demon
I can speak from experience as well and they are great cars. Fun to drive, comfortable, and crazy fast. I cannot wait to get my hands on a Demon.
I kinda have to laugh at people putting cars down without even driving or owning one, fanboy or not. |

Re: New Dodge Demon
I think you'd have to be twenty-something and still masturbating for sex to want one of these things. I've driven some 6 and 7 hundred hp Mazda Rx7's. They are absolutely no fun. Unless some computer is protecting you (and totally isolating you from anything resembling "driving" it yourself) the car will step out severely if you put any throttle on at 80-90 mph. That's like keeping a pet cobra in your front pocket. That said, there are certainly enough crazies to buy the limited number they'll make. So, good business decision by Dodge. I'll take the iMax version.

Re: New Dodge Demon
I'm a huge fan of this decision. It's a very very bold move on dodges part to make a car that won't take a corner for its life, but will blast a quarter like it does. Wrinkle wall tires, trans brake, a cooling system that keeps cooling after it shuts down....
It can do under 10 seconds with no mods. That's so rad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan boy, but making a no compromise car like this is way cool. |

Re: New Dodge Demon
Trans Am world wide already one upped the Demon with the SD 455. Around 1000 HP. makes one wonder where this muscle care war is headed?
