That's 89 #055 that became ZR-32 when it was at California Street Rods.

Re: Generic Prototype Thread
What was ZR32? Was it the purple 32 Ford that is pictured with your car?

Except it was a 32 Chevy not a ford. Had the LT5 from #055 and an automatic transmission.

Re: Generic Prototype Thread
Glad to hear it was a 32 Chevy. Is that car still around anywhere? I wonder what happened to the prototype body tub? Probably scrapped.
How did the shop acquire the prototype in the first place. Sorry about all the questions. Is there a story somewhere I could just read on my own?

Chevrolet commisioned the car. Gave them the parts + #074. They built it in 1989/1990. Showed the chassis at SEMA. THe car was entered in the Oakland Hot Rod show. It didn't win. It then was shown on the NSRA circuit and finally raffled off at the 1990 NSRA national show. Somewhere I have the name of the winner. I am not sure who owns it now, but it has been seen in the last few years at a Goodguys show.

Re: Generic Prototype Thread
How many 88 ZR1 prototypes are known to exist? Just Tyler's and Geoff's?
