Here on business again, doing training for a client Thursday and Friday. The ZR-1 looks lonely in the Fairfield Inn parking lot.

Lonely and tiny in comparison to the rest of the cars

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this.

Damn Bowling Green is hot! 95 degrees in the shade today. I walked out to the car after the meeting ended and I swear it was 140 in the car. The meetings are at a place right next to the museum, and my hotel is down at exit 22, maybe 5 miles away. By the time I pulled into the parking lot, I think it was slightly cooler inside than out, with a/c running full blast.

Half-day tomorrow and I think I'll hit the museum for lunch and maybe run through the exhibits again. There's an Indy Car special exhibit going on. Wish I could hit the track this weekend, but I think I'd melt.

No kidding, I'm surrounded by rolling buildings. Right after I took that pic some yahoo in another S-HUGE-VEE cranked it over right beside my car....sideways in their space, with the front wheels full lock. I hate lazy parkers.

Slightly better parking place this evening. Hopefully it doesn't get swamped by the hordes of monstermobiles later on.

This was still the better spot.

I'm not sure this is what you meant! Frickin monsoon going on right now. Hard to take a picture, but the rain is sideways. A C4 isn't the most water-tight vehicle in the world, so I'm anticipating a damp *** in the morning. Good thing it's casual Friday.
