So, you got a stock Z06? Is the yellow car in the second photo the same one in the first photo? I had the Z out twice in the last few days. 7K RPM is fun.

My opinion: your car is set up as well as any car around. I would run it to 7,000 often.

Two yellows:
Yellow/beige with 4.10s & B&B...380 at the wheels
Yellow/black with 4.10s & 415 cid...555 at the wheels

Stock Z06...unknown at the wheels but guess is 550

What a difference. Each one is an epic thrill.

Thanks for the commentary Ted, and for the car! I agree with your assessment, the '94 is really nice. I have the stock exhaust back on but kept the headers. It is a REALLY nice balance of loud and throaty when I'm hard on the go pedal, but quiet when cruising. I had a chance to drive a stock '02 Z06 the other day, what a different car. Much smoother and quieter, very different "seat of the pants" feel. Seems slower but more refined. I'm glad I bought what I did, it is VERY engaging, which is what I wanted.

Cleaned up my blue car a bit. It was very light in the sun. Took it to tuck it away and parked it in a shade. Car went dark. This blue is cool at how it shifts.

We were chatting about 'size' on the other site. C4 vs C7 (& C8)
