Re: Installing HID Driving Lights
What was the source of the kit? Looks like a great upgrade. Thanks for the clear instructions and photos.

Re: Installing HID Driving Lights
Corvettehid.com Already installed my pair ! The 91 and up install is different. You can access your lights underneath the bumper via the two access flaps. One side inside the bumper internals is the sytrofoam block however on the opposite side of this access hole you can install the ballast units. Took me about and hour but I went real slow.

Re: Installing HID Driving Lights
Mine were probably alot cheaper than Corvettehid.com they tend to be pricy.

Re: Installing HID Driving Lights
Okay, I know these are stupid Q's..... but I gotta ask because electrical stuff is not my strong suit....sorry
Will the stock wiring & fuse handle this upgrade? Will the extra light output create more heat behind the lens & possibly damage same? TIA Tom I guess you can tell that I went & looked around at Dan Stern's site and came away with a boatload of confusion.

Re: Installing HID Driving Lights
From the Corvette HID site it seems they run cooler, so heat shouldn't be a problem, quote -
