Contest is closed.
Answer is................ The piece came off of a harmonic balancer. It's the pressed in isolator between the main section and the outer ring. Now the second answer as to what year car it came off of....... Well that was a little bit of a trick question. The car that it currently belongs to is a 91, but the balancer was a pre-production piece. The rubber ring does not have any provisions for balance pins.
