American Modern Insurance Company suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks,I cant say it enough and will say it again every chance I get.Let me tell you a little story.Ive got a 64 Nova that a public bus ran into back in Feb.I get my estimates and Insurance company sends out an adjuster who has to drive 2 1/2 to my house.I live in Fremont which is in Ca,not in the boonies.I wasnt home so I couldnt talk to the guy but was told adjuster would leave an estimate on the seat of the car.Get home,no estimate.I call the insurance company and was told the guys info didnt go back to 1964,this coming from a collector car insurance company?Bus company denied my claim, insurance doesnt seem too interested in settling this so most likely Ill end up taking the bus company to court. And American Modern,Ive got the form to file a complaint with the state. You want your avarage bull$hit insurance run around,do business with these guys.Ill slam this company everytime I get the chance.

Z51JEFF, What is the reason for the denial?(Sounds Like American Modern denied your claim also) They have to deny in writing with policy language.

American Modern paid $1300 on a $1800 claim,Ill get my deductible of $500 when the insurance company settles with the bus company. The initial estimate was for $2600,I had to settle for a cheaper estimate because American Modern wanted to total the car.My claim was denied by the bus company based on a false statement given by the bus driver, trying to save his job I guess. What Ive gottin from American Modern Insurance is your basic insurance run around you would expect from an insurance company.Everytime I call and try and get some info on my claim Im NEVER able to get anybody on the phone. You want to save a few bucks on your policy,go with American Modern. There are quite a few collector car insurance companies out to choose from, you want grief,go with American Modern.Ive got Haggerty on my ZR-1.If the bus driver hadn't lied about his being responsible about running into the car Id most likely drop this once I get my deductible.

I just gave Adam Boca a call at the NCM. My insurance is up in August through Infinity paying 615 for stated value of 25K on my 92. Adam
quoted me 377 if NCM member for 3000miles. Also very easy over the phone process. Took 10 minutes, done deal.
