Because the rear end was feeling really soft. And more than one person told me how bad it was squating down when I would launch at the drag strip. Apperantley even if there are no signs of cracks or splintering they can go soft over time. And thanks to Pete who sold me the front and rear springs, problem solved. Its a much stiffer ride and no more squating.

I don't think so. Still looks the same. When I took the rear leaf spring off there were 6 shims. Three per side. One on top of each side of the spring and two on the bottom of each side of the spring. The alignment didn't make much difference anyway. My steering wheel still shakes right around 67mph. Above or below that speed is fine. They did say my tie rod ends are going to need some attention pretty soon. So I suspect/hope that fixes it. But first I have to get the new slave cylinder in then I'll deal with the tie rods. And then maybe things will be quiet for a while and I can get to the fun things like yanking more power out of her if you know what I mean right Brad

There are not allot of places to hide the tag are there. I guess he's being a little modest and not wanting to show to much.

Thanks Jerry. Anything I have to do on her takes alot of planning. I need to have all possible relavent parts related to what op I'm doing, and tools, and a good estimate of time needed to get whatever done so I can leave no trace.

The space is in a Co-Op & ya gotta respect the Board's rules. I had a hook on the BOD. I helped out a nice elderly lady & her 199? Buick Park Ave & she, unknown to me at the time, was the president of the BOD. I was in like flint for two yrs. Lost her on re-election & it's been tough. She gave me a heads up before the hammer came down, nice lady; she was a car guy.

Oh, yea, also the 48"/34watt tubes are 15' in the air, single tube fixtures spaced 2 to every 4 spaces....I burn thru alot of 18v Ryobi & 24v DeWalt batteries.
