Just installed an Alternator for a Z brother in our "VA plenum Pull" @ Michael R's home..... Glen paid $130 for an alternator from Kurt White (wasn't OEM, not identical to original, but worked). Installation wasn't too bad. Just a few bolts and had to move some hoses. I'll get you the "brand" that we used. I think you can purchase it for much less @ any auto store.  David |

When the headlights and blinkers are on the volt meter is swinging back and forth bigtime.

Well after after discussing with Jeff sounds like the Alt is fine, must just be a difference between the 90s and 92s.

pull the battery, remove tray, then clean and remove paint on the frame. The 90 model has a TSB for this. I did this on my 94 too. It helped with the dash volt meter bounce.
