Get a c6/the twin turbo fidanza convertible that I just brought back from cleveland is so much more comfy to drive then my zr1/drove 850 miles one day without needing a sauna./ a little more noise, but when you tuck up the turbos where the mufflers were,it's worth it/975rwhp/800 ft.lbs torque

Re: Now accepting advice?? look inside
God bless you Keith! That yellow ZO6 is a looker! It just needs a good set of heads to complete the package....maybe even a magna-charger for that certain something extra....
I vote for the deferred gratification thing......wait till ya can afford a sweet used C6/ZO6.......OR......do the Marc Haibeck thing, all ya have left to do is the complete top end port and retime the cams thing....that's even cheaper than either the C5/ZO6 or the C6/ZO6.......OR......if ya have the itch to spend, let someone do a cubic inch enhancement to your car...the snow is gonna fly soon....you wont miss the Z over the winter.... I know, I'm no help! Tom

Re: Now accepting advice?? look inside
I test drove an atomic orange 2008 Zo6 and it was sweet. But if you want strait up brutality thats way out of the c6 zO6's league and is half the money get a LPE 415 stroker. I know a guy who has both of them and even he will tell you they are not even in the same univers. His stock C6 zO6 dyno'd at 435rwhp. His LPE ZR-1 dyno'd at 700rwhp. And in the Texas mile hit 189mph at the one mile finish. Its loud and rowdy and sets off car alarms everywhere. Here are a few that were at Corey's shop.

Here's another carrot. Now this is brutal ZR-1 power at its finest.
