David, I agree with Greg. It was enough info that a ZR-1 owner needs help. Adding to the fact that she was female was pointless to the thread.

Jeff, I wanted to bring as much attention as possible to this one because she was considering selling her car.... Reason was so many told her "parts are not available for the ZR-1" .

Plus I thought it was really cool that an attractive female has a ZR-1. (how many women own ZR-1's?)

I will most likely get hell for the above...but I am sorry...this is no way to ask for help...Next post will say she is a blonde.... If Tony was involved...he did his best with what he had available to him...please don't beat this man up over a "Female Owner" issue.....pahleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!
I edited my post just for you Greg.

Well, from GM, yea parts are gone. From secondary suppliers, the parts are getting thin. And the balance pins for the balancer, are discontinued as well. No stock anywhere that I have found, and I was looking for them when I just recently did a balancer. I've got some spares and will be having them made.

JEFFVETT,

Don't take this the wrong way but how can you say it was pointless to the original poster to mention female in the post when you have a picture of a scantedly clad female showing her buns hanging out in your avitar? Not saying its not a nice shot you have just saying it may be just a little hypocritical on your part.

I just didn't see where the FEMALE OWNER comment should have been offensive to anyone in the manner in which it was presented!

Had he said female owner with nice hooters and a fine back porch, I would have to agree but mentioned nothing of the sort!

I can see I probably won't last long around here!

Have a good day all

I wasn't going to feed this thread further, for obvious reasons...but then I get a PM, that was so lame, well lets not go there...Now, we have an "attractive female"...I have to ask...but what if she wasn't so attractive? Does that mean that an "ugly female owner" will have to take a back seat...???????? Can she see Russia from her house??? OOP'S wrong coast...Hell, you might as well post a photo of her here... And, who cares if she is attractive or not. Now with that said...I know Tony is expensive...but what Tony does is worth it....If she had , or has... a problem with him... she should be the one dealing with it and not some other person (whom, I bet did not pay the bill) attacking the man.

Why hasn't this owner spoke up and asked for help herself? I know... let me guess...she is too busy being attractive...pahleeeeeeeesssssssssseeeeeeeee.

Yes it is true, I don't know the whole story, and I don't want to know! Lets not stall this thread further...please! Ask the mod's to delete it and start over!

Lastly, I have one thing to add... Can anyone here shed some light on where this owner might find the parts she needs?

Greg,

thank you so much for posting again and for your help.

Turns out 7 other owners met her (including myself) on Sunday in Crofton Maryland and we found 2 different suppliers with parts.

"The owner" hasn't posted on the forum before, but will be happy to know that you are in her corner.

Have a great day!

David

Guys:

Arguing semantics is pointless.
It wouldn't matter if a 3 ton gorilla owned the car.
The sad but funny part of this entire thread is that the original reason for this posting is entirely and absolutely moot.

Edited at ZZZZZR1's request to maintain the "Privacy" of the owner of the car.

Someday I should learn to keep my eyes open and my mouth shut.
