Re: 09 ZR1 as part of ZR-1 Net
Curious, since one option is "open a section", are we talking about including them in the forum or in the registry?

Re: 09 ZR1 as part of ZR-1 Net
Should we include the original ZR-1 as well?

Re: 09 ZR1 as part of ZR-1 Net
I vote yes. I think they would need a their own forum though for the two very different ZR-1 / ZR1s. Not sure there would be enough interest in the "original" ZR-1, but they could certainly be members.

Re: 09 ZR1 as part of ZR-1 Net
I also voted 'no' and have said so on the other discussion threads. I don't see that the new ZR1 is anything like ours. To me it just looks like a C6 with a bunch of bolt-ons and doesn't seem to have the 'hallmark of distinction' that ours do. I also doubt if anyone buying one would want to join us here - they don't need our information and probably don't even know we exist.
That said a Corvette is a Corvette so all brethren in that sense. I don't imagine my opinion on the subject makes much difference one way or another though

Re: 09 ZR1 as part of ZR-1 Net
WTF
I thought this was an LT5 KOTH forum. The new ZR1 as great as it is it's still not an LT5. If i wanna read about the new ZR1 i'll go the the other forums. We have nothing in common not a single part of the car is the same as ours. They can start there own ZR1registry this one has been thru h3ll and back just to have and keep this one togather. If we let them in then how about C5's and C6's since some members own them. Then maybe some ricers. There used to be a motocyle called the ZR1 maybe let them in also, lets not forget the ZR2's I say anybody can join even if they don't own a ZR-1 as long as they know it's a ZR-1/LT5 only forum. This is a full of sh!t thread. If i were the mod i would delete this thread. If the owners wanna have/make a C6 ZR1 they can start a whole new forum and call it the ZR1Registry and keep it different. Over here i just wanna read about 32valves not 16. Two different worlds. Pete
