To this list, I would recommend adding a fuel pressure gauge. Autozone's is a decent enough product.

Remote hose clamp tool, and a magnetic pickup tool

sorry for the ugly spelling . gotta start wearing these dumb glasses. does anyone know what special tools are needed for changing a head gasket and where can one buy them .thank you for any guidence you can give

Tony, the best you can buy would be a Vetronix Tech 1. It is bimodal and can control the engine and certain other functions. It is not just a scanner.
