Re: possible big news
Honestly guys why not let in the C3s as well?
It was mentioned last week the age of corvette fans attending carlisle last week was in the mid 50s - 60s? I am frankly confused by this reaction ? |

Re: possible big news
I gotta agree with Carter...Do we really need floormat and shift knowb threads over here?
Im not a die hard badge holder but the ZR1 is what is it...A crossbreed, not another one like it. Just another ploy by GM to sell something. Could have called it a Camaro too I guess. As far as value goes, whose going to want one of those "old, slower" ZR1s, thats what youre going to hear. And yes, its good to see more traffic here. Im making an effort to keep my tech questions at the registry..

Re: possible big news
Being a fairly new ZR1 enthusiast, I believe we should stay with the C4 ZR1 forum. All I see happening is confusion between the two if they join this forum.
Let them create their own forum. None of the info here pertains to this new ZR1 anyway so let's keep it clean with the C4 ZR1 only. |

Re: possible big news
it mignt not deserve the zr-1 title, but at more than 650 hp,it WILL be king of the hill, and that alone gives me immense pleasure...i also agree that a better name would be stingray

Re: possible big news
I have to agree with ZR1Fun. Our Z's are completely different and unique in their own. Let us continue to carry on the legend of the 1st KOTH.=D>

Re: possible big news
As long as it is on a Hi -powered Corvette, I am in support. We are the favored forerunners of this car and it is good for us in the long run. Garth

The '70s ZR1 is really not similar at all, and I doubt they'd even want to be in our registry. There's nothing in common.

I think that's half the battle to having a valuable car, is having people be aware of it.
