Default Re: Dreaded no start

Remember.......you can always push start a ZR1 in second gear.....two guys can easily push a ZR1 on relatively level ground.....

Just get the ZR1 moving forward a bit (clutch depressed and key on) and pop the clutch in gear

This is the only time I start a ZR1 in gear

A No Start is no longer "Dreaded" as you might think

Also.....Remember a simple jump start will often provide enough additional voltage to increase the field strength of the starter solenoid to move a sticky solenoid.....or increase the voltage for higher resistant solenoid contact points iincreasing the field strength of the starter windings itself 👍

That is why we always ask "do you here a click when you turn the key on" a no start.....
"No Click?" (the issue is low battery or sticky starter solenoid).....
"You hear a Click"....(the issue is the starter solenoid contact points or the starter itself).....
