It is just that San Bernardino is my home town. I remember as a kid watching watching the cargo planes land at Norton AFB. Talked my way on base once to watch a SR 71 take off. Fuel poured out the back as it ran down the runway into a dense fog.
The tires were presented to me as display tires. Never run. They are still mounted to '89 wheels. I just will never use the tires. They are like most early parts. Very rare amd almost nobody has a need for them. You are welcome to call me at 949-795-6250. George |
