Re: 2020 Tire Choices
Just replaced my GSD3's with Nitto 555G2's. Ran them on my Gen5 Supercharged Camaro. Took very little weight (less than an ounce) on fronts and 2 ounces on rear. Good grip, so far very happy.

Ouch. The Michelin's are almost $700 each up here. The back ones. Ouch! $2k+ Canadian for a set. The many joys of living in upper Canuckistan.

Re: 2020 Tire Choices
No....the Michelins are the choice if you have $$$$$. No way I'd ever spend that amount of money on tires, for an almost 30 year old car. I run the Nittos and have never had one issue with them. But to each their own.

Re: 2020 Tire Choices
I ended up going with the Toyos. Great price, and as a bonus in this weird COVID shopping year, they were readily available. Late 2020 construction, so I should be good for a while. Not super gummy, but fun to drive on, super smooth, and balanced without an issue.

Re: 2020 Tire Choices
I have a new set of M/T's Comps. One rear was balanced fine and one was just beyond balancing accurately but workable. The tech indicated to me that I may notice a very small vibration but that it may also "wear in" after some miles! The fronts could not be balanced AT ALL, the tires are too out-of-round. The machine used does have the "Road Force" feature. And the wheels are true, according to the tech, with that same machine. I'm currently trying to get this issue resolved.
