I wonder what other car used a 17x11? I'm guessing folks selling BBS don't think Corvette anymore.

So yes, the wheels can be widened. It also pretty well doubles the cost of them. I wonder what adding the right amount of width would do to the offset.

Re: BBS RS Type Wheels for ZR1?
If I had the wheels widened I would want to use a shop that has done wheel widening many times. The welding process needs to be right to ensure that the wheels will not develop cracks in the heat affected zone. My personal experience with modifying wheels is about 175-250 a wheel to refinish and straighten if needed. I assume widening would maybe double that number. I cost me almost a grand to refinish a set of BMW E39 M5 wheels at a specialty shop. Wheels of America or whatever the franchise is called would not touch them, they said they could do the shadow chrome finish.

Re: BBS RS Type Wheels for ZR1?
Because the wheels are of a 3 piece design the width possibilities are pretty much endless. There are companies out there that make the -shells- which is the hoops,or rim. Get a company that will make a set of shells with the BBS perimeter bolt pattern and go from there. I'm really kicking myself in the a$$ for not buying the set when I had a chance,$1500.
