Speaking of yellow 93 ZR1's with white interior. There is a nice one on ebay today. I wonder if it's the same car. It from a dealer CMC Carolina Muscle Cars.

It has to be only two were built #179 originally sold at Konner Chev. I just sold last year to a good friend about a mile from me and #207 it was originally sold at Eklers Corvette in Fla.

CMC says they bought it from an elderly 85 year old couple. You can see on the window sticker that it says Ecklers.

Folk" remain clueless about the ZR-1 and the LT-5. Most of us have mused that this explains the struggle in appreciation of these cars. Very similar to the nonsensical dislike of Cross Fire Injection in the 82's. It is actually a pretty good design, just the "techs" back in the day did not understand it so they blamed the design rather than admit they were clueless. Now in the day of mass fuel injection the 82's look pretty simple, somewhat archaic, but once set up correctly, pretty trouble free. We need to "fight the fight", i.e. educate and spread the word that the C-4 ZR-1 is not the Edsel of the 90's. If not us, then whom? ![]() Marty Afterthought: As a group of individuals we should submit more articles to the remaining few corvette publications about our cars. Intensify and expand our presence at Corvettes at Carlisle, Bowling Green, etc. Each of us should have "Story Boards" for our cars with the aim of educating the enthusiast and the great unwashed about these magnificent automobiles whenever we display them. m Last edited by DRM500RUBYZR-1; 08-15-2019 at 07:56 AM. |

The greedy bastard that bought it should have sold when he had the chance.
