5 in our language translates to "punj" so 5abi = punjabi. AB in punjabi = rivers so 5abi just means 'from the land of 5 rivers'. VT just stands for vette. Back in university when my brother got his 97 camaro ss he got the Plate 5ABI SS, so I got 5ABI VT when i bought my 93 LT1 a year later just to match I ended up just taking the plate off my 93 LT1 car and put it on my zr1. It gets confusing on some youtube videos as both cars are blue!
